Not just your basic black gingham blouse

I’m always a sucker for a neutral print. I love plain grays and whites and blacks like any other lady, but sometimes it’s fun to change it up with a print. Like this black gingham blouse from the Who What Wear Collection. You can stand out without standing out too much. Ya know?

I also love the ruffle details on the shoulder… Adds a little something extra & makes it look expensive. Except it’s not! Can you believe that this blouse is under $25?! Can’t go wrong with that price.

The sleeve of the shirt is fun too. It gives the top so much more movement than if it were just fitted in the arms.

Sheer blouse vibes

Yes, I realize this blouse is a bit see-through. I’m kind of into the see-through look though sooo deal with it. 😉 You could easily add a nude or black cami underneath to make it more modest, or if you were going to wear it for work.

I am wearing a small but could have definitely gone with an XS. I tend to fit between those 2 sizes, so I would say this top runs true to size.

Dress this top up or down… If you have to dress up for work, you could wear it with black or colored slacks. (red would be fun!) If you want to wear it in a more casual gingham look, as seen here, you could wear it with black jeans & some boots or black crops & heels.

What’s your favorite neutral print?

I can’t choose one – leopard, gingham, tweed, stripes… I love them all! My goal for 2018 is to add more prints into my wardrobe – I’ve been stuck on the triblend gray train for too long. I seriously probably own 25 shirts that are the same color of gray. Yikes.
