Need some help with what to order? Have no fear.. I have broken up this post into 3 different sections – my tried and true products I have loved for a long time, things I have been using lately that I like, and the things I ordered to try.
MY TRIED AND TRUE BEAUTY PRODUCTS…
Beauty Blender in Pure // I have tried the original, the black and this beauty blender and this one is by far my favorite. I feel like it blends your make-up in the best and it also makes me happy that there’s no dye in it. It doesn’t stay as “clean” looking, but a small price to pay for it working better than the others!
Hourglass Primer Serum // This primer is life-changinggggg if you have dry skin. It helps moisturize your face before your foundation so your skin isn’t peeling throughout the day. This is probably my 5th bottle because it’s that good!
It Cosmetics Illumination CC Cream // If you only buy ONE thing from the sale, buy this cc cream! It’s the perfect amount of coverage but doesn’t feel super heavy on. It also has spf 50 in it, which I love. I love a dewy look so the Illumination kind is my favorite, but if you prefer a more matte look, you may prefer the original cream.
NARSissist Wanted Eyeshadow Palette // If you’re into neutral and shimmery eyeshadow, this palette is for you! I love all of the colors on this palette and they are long-lasting. I’m trying to venture more into the darker shades, because I tend to use the lighter ones, but they are all gorgeous.
Peter Thomas Roth FirmX Peeling Gel // If you’re one of those people that has a weird enjoyment of peeling your skin after a sunburn (ewww, people do that?! 😉 lol) then you’ll loveee this mask. It’s so fast-acting and gets all the gross old skin off of your face and clumps it into little balls. Then you wash it all off and your skin is super smooth. I use it a couple times a week and the bottle lasts forever.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer // My favorite concealer! It has great coverage and covers alllll the things you need covered. I find a lot of other concealers are too drying on my skin but this one doesn’t get dry or crack at all.
Supergoop Forever Young Hand Cream SPF 40 // Ladies and gentlemen of the class of ’98: Wear sunscreen. If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it… lol. Hopefully some of you get that reference 😉 Anywayyyyy, this hand cream works great as a hand cream but it also has sunscreen in it. Yay! I put some on after I get ready and it soaks in right away and doesn’t make my hands feel greasy.
Drybar Triple Sec 3-in-1 // This spray works so well for giving your hair some ‘oomph’ the days you don’t wash it. I spray some at the roots in a few different spots and then kind of scrunch/massage it into my hair.
PRODUCTS I’VE BEEN USING LATELY…
Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner // I didn’t even know I needed a facial toner until I used a sample bottle of this and then ran out of it. This stuff is super amazing at getting your face clean and hydrated after washing. I’m excited I have a big bottle to use so I won’t run out again for a while! 😉
Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 // Who else has the hardest time finding facial sunscreen they like?! I like using the It Cosmetics CC Cream because it has SPF built in, but on the days I know I’m going to be in the sun a lot… I need more coverage. This Supergoop Sunscreen comes out clear and layers on like a primer. It has a very very light hint of sunscreen smell but doesn’t bother me how much sunscreen smells do. I’ll definitely be using this all spring and summer long.
Summer Friday Jet Lag Mask // This mask has been alllll over Instagram lately and I wanted to try it out to see if it lived up to it’s hype. It does! It’s super hydrating and has a nice cooling feeling on your skin. I like to use it after I work-out/shower, it helps cool me down and hydrates my dry skin.
Kopari Sheer Coconut Oil // This oil is similar to the argan oil I also use but is a lighter feeling oil. I also feel like it soaks in faster than the other oil. I love both, but lately I’ve been reaching for this one.
Kopari Coconut Balm // This feels like you’re using coconut oil on your skin but is a bit more ‘elevated.’ It’s easier to rub in and feels like it soaks in faster than plain coconut oil. I am loving this small sample I got and definitely want to buy more once this tube is gone.
Kopari Coconut Melt // Can you tell I’ve been into Kopari lately?! This one is similar to the coconut balm but is more like regular coconut oil and feels so nice on dry skin. I definitely notice a difference from when I use it or don’t use it.
Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo // I have been a long time lover of Drybar’s Triple Sec so I wanted to see if the dry shampoo was also as great. I really like it! It works great at soaking up oil on the days you don’t want to wash your hair. I still use the Triple Sec afterwords for extra volume!
PRODUCTS I WANT TO TRY…
Supergoop Invincible Setting Powder SPF 45 // I love everything else Supergoop so I’m thinking this will be great to keep in my purse and use on the go. I’ll keep you updated on if I like it!
Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial // Another Insta-famous beauty product I’ve been wanting to try. We’ll see if it lives up to the hype!
Drunk Elephant Rise + Glow Duo // I’ve been wanting to try a variety of Drunk Elephant products and I found this duo and the one below that gives you decent amount of oz for the price. If I like it, then I can get the full size bottles.
Drunk Elephant NightBright Duo // These are Drunk Elephant’s night products that come in a cute duo sample pack. Looking forward to trying both of these!
Foreo Luna 2 for Sensitive Skin // Does anyone have this & what are your thoughts?! I have been wanting to try it but eeek, such an investment. I like that you don’t have to buy replacement brushes and you can keep it cleaner (it seems) than the Clarisonic.
